A collection of 20 digital educational resources have been selected for this Portfolio. For each resource the following are addressed.
1. the website url
2. a brief description of the resource and its purpose
3. what platform it will run on (is it suitable for mobile devices? PC)
4. cost/licensing details
5. age group/learning stage suitability
6. Explanation for why the resource is included in relation to the relevant ICT capability
7. A critical assessment of the resources applicability and value.
A seperate page has been created for the follow ICT Capabilities:
1. Applying social and ethical protocols and practices when using ICT will include resources that help teachers and students
• Recognise intellectual property
• Apply digital information security practices
• Apply personal security protocols
• Identify the impacts of ICT in society
2. Investigating with ICT will include resources that help teachers and students:
• define and plan information searches
• locate, generate and access data and information
• select and evaluate data and information
